Blue sky and sunshine for a while today were uplifting and made a welcome change to the usual overcast grey.
Andrew is still fighting hard against the weather which is fetching up against the mountainous coast of Chile. He recognizes the weather systems as having some similarity to those he has experienced along the Norwegian coastline, however that makes it no easier to deal with.
He is aiming to try and sail West to get further away from the land and the complex washing machine seas which are really uncomfortable and difficult to sail through. He has been a month in this area already and is definitely keen to move on.
Andrew has asked me to pass on his “Thanks to all those who have sent messages” to him, particularly the school children from Aith primary – your messages have been really helpful for Andrew, he was delighted to receive them.

Gripping stuff checking out your daily position and logs Andrew. We love it and share with as many as possible! Lots of mums in the playground can be seen zooming in on their iPhones!
Thanks Alyson too for your incredible supporting role ..we have seen you in action and appreciate all the more the efforts in maintaining a flow of updates. Praying you are both blessed with continued strength and resilience. X
